Take contact lenses to soak in Hot Springs

Wear contact lenses to soak in hot springs and pay attention to “moisturizing” your eyes

In cold weather, many people like to soak in hot springs and eat barbecue around the fire. In these environments, tears will evaporate faster. People who wear contact lenses had better not stay in these environments for too long. If conditions permit, you can carry a contact lens case kit or contact lens case with you. Put the lens in the contact lens box before soaking in the hot spring. And pay attention to blink more or add some eye drops that moisten the eye surface.

There are wonderful ways to relieve dry eyes

Tip 1: blink more

When blinking, tears will be evenly spread on the surface of the eyeball to keep the eyes moist. Thus, blinking more can prevent dry eyes.

Tip 2: Use eye drops

When wearing contact lenses, if your eyes feel dry. Lubricating eye drops can be used. But pay attention to the frequency of drops, preferably no more than 6 times a day.

Tip 3: Steam your eyes with steam

Pour hot water into a cup, close your eyes, lower your head. Let the eyelids and the roots of your eyelashes fully feel the fumigation of the steam. 3-4 minutes each time, more than 3 times a day. This helps the opening of the glands that secrete tears become unobstructed. Reminder: When steaming your eyes, you need to pay attention to the temperature of the steam. If the temperature is too high, it will burn the eye surface.

Tip 4: Apply a hot towel to your eyes

Soak the towel in hot water for a while until the entire towel is warmed through. Squeeze out part of the water in the towel, then fold it, close your eyes, and apply it. After the towel is no longer hot, continue to soak in hot water and repeat the above operation. Applying a hot towel to the eyes can promote blood circulation in the eyes.
